FEMPOWER

We empower and support women in Europe with a course on “Female Empowerment” that, in addition to providing feminist education, can help initiate real changes towards greater equality in their lives through body-oriented methods and practical examples. To achieve this, we develop ready-to-use educational materials that can be easily adapted to different targetgroups and learning needs.

In all partner countries, we conduct focus groups with the target audience and develop content for the curriculum based on their feedback. These materials are then reviewed by all partner organizations during test events, subsequently revised, formatted into an attractive and user-friendly layout, and printed in small quantities, with primary distribution taking place digitally. A social media initiative and multiplier events are utilized for final dissemination.

The main outcome is a Female Empowerment course manual for adult education and counseling, which, in addition to knowledge transfer, incorporates cultural traditions of strong women and methods from body-oriented coaching. The learning units can also be used in other educational contexts and for different learning needs, such as in integration and further qualification courses. In the long run, this approach enables us to achieve empowerment and greater gender equality for women across Europe.
